I draw from a variety of therapeutic approaches to meet each client’s unique needs. I believe each individual has an innate capacity for healing and is an expert on themselves. My role as a psychotherapist is to walk alongside and help you notice your blind spots and stumbling blocks.

This means that therapy can look different for each individual. For OCD or anxiety, we may do Exposure and Response-Prevention (ERP), the gold-standard treatment for these issues. If we're targeting ADHD, a session might include "body doubling", goal-setting, or skill-practice. And, sometimes you may just need a safe and supportive space to talk. Sometimes, we may need to "make space for" past traumatic experiences.

My approach to therapy is trauma-informed. Therapy will include ideas and methods from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT),  Cognitive-Behaviour Therapy (CBT) Mindfulness, Somatic Therapy, and Internal Family Systems.
